The Allure Group Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway!

The Allure Group, always seeking to be a good neighbor and active member of the community, saw residents from the Crown Heights, Linden and Harlem Centers spend time over the past few days giving back to local young people.
Raquel Cowan and Josh Sparks from The Allure Group’s Crown Heights and Linden Centers went to P.S. 289 for a donation event, giving hundreds of backpacks and school supplies to elementary school students. Some of our Harlem Center staff, including Caron Williams and Natasha Cowan, joined residents in handing out back-to-school backpacks to students at PS 197! These giveaways are always among our favorite events of the year!
A number of the students at these schools live in temporary housing and have been coming to school without the supplies they need. The Allure Group’s Chief Business Development Officer, Matthew Fenley, was quoted at the Crown Heights event saying “It’s a great opportunity for the senior community to interact with younger generations.”
The Allure Group looks forward to this event every year and is thrilled to be able to make a tradition out of it. Looking forward to doing it again next year!
